Author David Wickes has five published novels, Killing Time, Killing Cold, Killing Kind, Killing Mind and Killing Affair. All five fast-paced thrillers feature protagonist, homicide detective Jack Petersen. His work has been widely acclaimed with Killing Time and Killing Cold attaining best selling status in 2009.
Wickes, born in Montreal, served eight years as a pilot in the R.C.A.F., flying F-86 Sabre Jets in Europe during the Cold War. He moved to the cosmetic industry, soon establishing his own company as an importer and national distributor. He took an early retirement to begin his writing career in 2001.
The author lives in South-Western Ontario, along with his two German shepherds, Guinness and Diego.
